How does the free trial work?
You get 7 days of full access to the entire archive and every day's ranked selection. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel any time before then to avoid a charge. We'll email you before the trial finishes so you're never charged by surprise.
What if I don't like it — can I get a refund?
Yes. Beyond the free trial, we offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on your first paid charge. If Aveno isn't for you, email [email protected] within 7 days of that charge and we'll refund it. See the refund page for full details.
Will I be charged automatically?
After the free trial, your membership renews automatically at the plan price you chose (monthly at $10, or annual at $100 / about $8.33 a month) until you cancel. We email you before the trial ends so there are no surprises.
Is payment secure?
Payments are handled over an encrypted (SSL) connection and we never store full card details on our own servers. Checkout opens once our subscription setup is fully connected — during early access the button shows a neutral notice rather than taking payment.
The daily selection
How is the daily selection chosen?
Our curators, led by Irene Vidal, watch far more films than we publish and rank a single daily selection by editorial judgement — relevance, craft and how much we think it's worth your time today. There's no algorithm deciding the order; a person does.
When does the ranking refresh?
Every day at 00:00 in your own local timezone. The on-screen countdown shows exactly how long until the next selection goes live.
Does the same film stay #1 forever?
No. The selection is re-ranked every single day, so today's #1 is rarely tomorrow's. The whole point is a fresh, finite list each morning rather than a permanent leaderboard.
Can I submit my own film?
Yes — we credit every filmmaker and welcome submissions. Email [email protected] with a link and a short note, and our curators will take a look.
Access & devices
What devices can I watch on?
Aveno works in any modern web browser on desktop, laptop, tablet and phone. We don't currently offer native mobile, smart-TV or offline-download apps, and we won't claim features we haven't built.
Can I download films to watch offline?
Not yet. Aveno is a streaming-only web service today. We'd rather under-promise than advertise offline downloads we don't actually support.
Can I share my account?
A membership is intended for one person's personal, non-commercial use. We may offer additional seats in future, but for now please don't share login credentials.
